In honor of Memorial Day, below are my ten favorite books where the characters are either military, or former military.
There are hundreds of Christian Fiction books with more military-centric plots. Some wonderful authors to check out with military centric books are: Hallee Bridgeman, Sarah Sundin, Ronnie Kendig, Mel Odom, Tricia Goyer, J. M. Hotchstettler, Connie Ann Michael, and many more!
These listed below are all books I’ve read personally and they’re listed in no particular order. Enjoy!

This 8 book novella series is meant to be read in order. I highly recommend the whole series!

In the wake Temperance’s arrest, Leo must handle the situation with the utmost caution. On one hand, every instinct in his heroic mind screams to protect the beautiful wireless operator from the hands of the Nazis. On the other, he cannot risk compromising his cover.
This series is meant to be read in order. I highly recommend this series – you can buy the entire set together in one volume, or each individual novella. The whole series was such a fun read but as you may suspect, #1, #7 and #8 are my favorites 🙂

Is Violet willing to break out of her perfectly contented shell and experience life beyond her little corner of Texas?
US Army First Lieutenant CHASE ANDERSON feels like he needs a change. From his duty station in Hawaii, he receives a job offer in the civilian market at the same time he’s asked to coach a pee wee football camp hosted by his alma mater, Texas A&M. Chase decides to take leave and coach the summer camp, intending to also check out the job offer. He has no idea God has other plans for him.

The box brings them together in a miraculous way, and their feelings for each other begin to grow.
This book is only available digitally inside the Yesterday’s Mail multi-author collection. The collection is great, but this book is one of my favorites. Just absolutely beautiful, romantic and heartwarming. I highly recommend it. You can also purchase it individually in paperback.
